Let's Vibe in Tulum, Mexico!

Written by Voyage and Vibes

High Season: December - April

Low Season: May - September

Our Favorite: We love Tulum all the time but beware there is a lot of seaweed that gets washed up on the beach from April to August.  There are a ton of fun events, music festivals and more during high season which is when the weather is the best.

Nomade
Located directly on the beach, Nomade is a small botique style hotel with jungle treehouses and beachfront suites. Nomade has the typical "Tulum" feel throughout the entire property offering yoga, meditation and other mindful workshops.

Le Zebra
A fun and vibrant botique hotel, Le Zebra offers a great combination of relaxed bohemian and a social hip environment. Le Zebra's beach club offers "Sunday salsa night" free salso lessons which are extremely popular and a fun change of pace.

Be Tulum
A high end luxury botique hotel that is home to one of our favorite more relaxed beach clubs. Be Tulum has two swimming pools on the beach which sets this hotel a part from others.

Cabanas
Another wonderful beachside hotel in walking distance to many of Tulums shops and restaurants. There are two wonderful restaurants on this property and this property has beachfront rooms, poolside rooms and well as a 3 bedroom loft that is suited for families or couples.

Other places to stay:

Azulik: You'll recognize this on social media - Adults only and eco friendly boutique hotel

Casa Malca: Pablo Escabar's old mansion that is how a stunning hotel.

Airbnb: Reach out for a list of Airbnb's that we recommend!

RESTAURANTS
BAK Prime Steakhouse:The Black Onyx steak with mashed potatoes are to die for! Make a late reservation here!
Taboo Tulum: Mediterranean cousine, also great for lunch attached to the beach club.
RosaNegra: Latin American. Highly recommend. They also have one of the best late night sparkler shows.

Ziggys Beach Club: Great breakfast that is attached to Cabanas Hotel.

La Taqueria: Our hidden gem taco truck!

MurMur: Another hidden gem Mexican restaurant with great music and great vibes.

Raw Love: You'll want to get your picture with the entrace of Raw Love, known for their smoothie bowls.

Matcha Mama: Famous coffee & matcha bar known for being gluten free and plant based.

COCKTAIL BARS
Gitano: Gitano is a super swanky Mezcal bar and jungle room. You wont want to miss out on grabbing a drink or two here.

Cortazar Bar: We love this hidden gem cocktail bar. You might miss it as it is very small so look out for the DJ spinning outside the door.

Casa Jaguar: Deep in the heart of the jungle, this vibey spot is great for dinner or just drinks.

NIGHTLIFE & BEACH CLUBS
Papaya Playa Project: Head over here to listen to great music, attend a full moon party, or any other events that are constantly happening at Papaya Playa.
Be Tulum: Great outdoor and chill beach bar vibes on the main famous beach of Positano. Great music and atmostphere.

Vagalume: A beach club with one of the top rated restaurants. You might recognize this one on instagram!
Bagatelle: Highly recommend going here on a Saturday afternoon and snagging a day bed. Dance and party the day into night at Bagatelle.
Nomade Beach Club: Our favorite spot for a more chill day on the beach. Grab a day bed here and listen to some tropical house music away from all the wild partying.
